HOW I CAN HELP WITH HOME EDUCATION

I utilise my background in child safety and exploitation to aide in completing learning around important subjects. These are often topics parents/carers aren't sure how to bring up or how to speak about in an age appropriate way.

 

Without extensive knowledge or a background in these subjects, making sure that information shared is up to date and free from bias and misunderstanding is important in learning for all young people, not just those being home-schooled.

 

I make it easy for parents/carers to talk about these subjects through parent sessions or complete these sessions myself. Below are the specialist examples that I cover:

FOR young people

I have put together topic based programmes that can be done 1:1 or in sibling groups within the home/learning environment.

Topics are covered in relatable, creative and age-appropriate ways alongside the learning they complete on an every day basis. 

​

I provide a safe, consistent adult who is trained in being able to speak to young people about difficult or embarrassing topics.​
